YOUR INFORMATION
Planner privacy notice.
Effective October 20, 2026 · Notice version 2026-10-20.4
King Construction and Builders (“KCB”) operates this new home planner. It helps you explore a possible home budget and gives KCB a starting point if you request a project conversation.
Which service this notice covers
This notice describes the planner’s contact records, saved project summaries and browser storage. The separate inquiry form at kingconstruction.com uses a different process described in the main website privacy notice . Its statements about temporary in-tab drafts and no separate inquiry database do not describe this planner.
What is saved
When you submit your name and email to open the planner, KCB saves those details, the entry time, the notice version and a record that you started, even if you do not finish. Your email is checked for format; this tool does not verify ownership of the address.
A save action at the final step sends your current selections, optional city or target budget, calculated range, model version and follow-up choice. Selections can include rooms, square footage, finish level, features and property allowances. If you choose to share them, a summary save also includes your land stage, plan stage and intended build timing; these optional details help KCB prepare for a project conversation and do not request follow-up by themselves. The planner retains saved revisions and a history of explicit follow-up choices with their recorded times; a later save does not erase that history. Browser-saved alternatives are not all submitted with a project save.
Please provide only information needed to plan your project. Do not enter financial account numbers, government identification numbers or other sensitive personal information.
Your follow-up choice
“Yes, email me about this project” requests a project conversation by email. “No, I’m just exploring” declines follow-up for this entry. A changed choice is recorded after a successful project save or separate follow-up update. Selecting a radio button alone does not update a previous choice. If you leave before a save is confirmed, the change may or may not have been recorded. Return and check the saved status or contact KCB. A first save without a choice does not request contact; later saves without a new choice preserve the previously recorded preference.
A successful project save with an explicit “Yes” choice queues an internal email alert to KCB through Resend, including your contact details and saved project summary. Requested inquiries are also available in KCB’s private workspace for review. Saving confirms the recorded request, not email delivery or a response time. The planner does not send an automatic confirmation to you or subscribe you to marketing emails.
To withdraw an earlier request, use “Stop project follow-up for this entry” below, or save a new “No” choice in the planner, and check the confirmed status. The separate control below does not require a valid project or a current pricing model. If another window changed the preference, review the current choice and select the control again. If the update fails, you no longer have access, or you made more than one entry, call 800-272-6650 and ask KCB to stop follow-up for the relevant entries. Starting a new entry with the same email creates a separate entry; choosing “No” there does not change an earlier entry. A confirmed withdrawal cancels queued alerts that have not begun sending. It cannot recall an email already sent or being sent, or update a separately exported copy.
Use, access and service providers
KCB uses these records to operate and secure the planner, understand project interest and review the scope and budget of inquiries. When you request follow-up, KCB can use the saved summary to prepare for that conversation. Access to the lead workspace requires administrator sign-in; visitors cannot browse other entries. The planner does not put your contact or project details in public links.
The planner uses Vercel for hosting and request processing, a database service for stored records, and Resend to send internal project alerts to KCB. These providers process information to operate their services; alert emails pass your contact details and saved project summary through Resend and KCB’s email provider. Hosting may process submitted information and technical details such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request times. For information about data Vercel handles for its own purposes, see Vercel’s privacy notice . This planner notice describes KCB’s use of your submitted information.
The application also uses security counters derived from visitor IP addresses and entry identifiers to limit abuse. Administrator authentication uses session, sign-in and rate-limit records, which can include IP and browser information. This planner does not add advertising pixels, analytics trackers or mailing-list enrollment.
Cookies and local options
A short-lived entry cookie supports the opening form for up to one hour. After entry, an access cookie keeps this browser connected to its planner entry for up to 30 days. These durations govern browser access, not how long KCB retains the entry.
Local browser storage can remember your current selections and up to three alternative options. Those options have no automatic expiry in the application and can remain after the access cookie expires, until cleared or removed. They are separate from the revisions saved with KCB and recalculate using the current model when loaded. Printing, copying or downloading does not send another project record; copies you share are outside the planner’s control.
On a shared device, use “Use different details” before someone else begins. This ends current access and attempts to clear this entry’s local selections and options. It does not delete KCB’s saved records or cancel an earlier follow-up request. Clear browser data as well if you need to remove local copies or browser storage is unavailable. Another open tab or a downloaded copy is not automatically cleared.
Retention and deletion limits
The planner currently keeps contact records, saved revisions and preference history until they are deleted; it does not automatically delete them when you leave, when a cookie expires or when you decline follow-up. To request deletion, use the control below when available or call KCB.
The own-entry control removes that entry, its saved revisions, preference history and linked access sessions from the active planner database. It does not remove other entries with the same email, main-website inquiries, exported or downloaded copies, or independent security records. It does not recall alert emails or delete copies held by Resend, KCB’s email provider or KCB’s mailbox, and it does not directly erase provider backups. Contact KCB about records held outside the active planner and any applicable retention obligations.
Manage this planner entry
You can decline project follow-up without changing or saving your project. This applies to the entry identified here; contact KCB if your request concerns other entries or exported copies.
Deletion removes only this entry and ends its planner access. Review the deletion limits above.
Questions and privacy requests
Call 800-272-6650 to ask about your planner information, request access or correction, request deletion, or withdraw project follow-up. Identify the email used and whether your request concerns one entry or all relevant entries. KCB may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. The planner does not verify identity solely because a person knows an email address.
The main website’s project-inquiry form is for project conversations; it is not a dedicated privacy-request form. This planner notice is separate from the main website privacy notice. The effective date above identifies this notice’s version.
